The sphenoid bone, occipital bone, and two temporal bones form the basis of the skull, and the two parietal and frontal bones are attached to the front of the sphenoid bone. Then complete the facial part of the skull by connecting the left and right upper jaw bones, each of which also includes the lacrimal bone, the nasal bone and the palatine bone. The face and skull (visceral skull and nerve skull) are connected to each other by the cheekbones. The cheekbones can be removed separately. The mandible is fixed in the fossa on both sides of the skull by hinge joints, but 4 masticatory muscles have been added.
